The consultation rooms and treatment areas are designed in every detail to support the therapies practised there. Front door disability parking, lift access, spacious rooms, air conditioning and specialised treatment beds ensure clients of all abilities can fully enjoy the service.
Bernie is a registered nurse with over twenty years’ experience in Western healthcare. Until recently she has been working as a Nursing Sister (NHS), specialising in chronic disease management, palliative care, and leadership.
Bernie first gravitated towards Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) following the birth of her second child, when she could not find a solution on her own journey with pain. Following the success of acupuncture sessions, and convinced by the power of TCM, Bernie travelled to Dublin to undertake a three-year course at the Irish Institute of Chinese Medicine.
Bernie is a strong advocate of Western and Chinese medicine working together, and therefore adopts an integrated approach to health and well-being which combines both, she has successfully treated many clients with a range of conditions using this East-West model of care.
Bernie is professionally registered with the British Medical Acupuncture Society, The Association of Chinese Medicine and the Nursing and Midwifery Council all of which provides regulation of members, ensuring high standards of treatment and strict codes of ethics and practice.
